I have not been to a professional race as yet. Though I do rarely watch live race whenever possible. Did have interest in bike races during teens and have participated in local competitions. But interest waned off, unfortunately.
I used to participate races in our bike-club, it’s members only competition its pure fun and safe. And they would award prize to winners during our club event. Their name would become famous in our local circuit and few try to become professionals after these races.
I have not been in a bike race nor participated in one. I do sometimes watch professional race and just look in awe about the speed and control of the riders. Frankly, I do not think racing is my thing. Too many risks involved there.
