Are there any new prospects in the racing world of bmx and mountain bikes? I’m curious to know if there are any new stars in the making or already killing it out there. I never considered racing myself, but I have always been a fan of watching others race. Who should we be keeping an eye on?
I’d say Alise Willoughby is one I’ve kept my eye on. She’s been around since the early 2000s, but they don’t call her “The Beast” for nothing. She’s probably in her prime today.
Watch out for Vali Holl, she could be downhill’s most exciting rider of her generation. Got her first sponsorship deal at the age of 13. The Austrian is yet to make her elite debut at the sport’s premier series, the Mercedes-Benz UCI World Cup, but her times as a junior hold up well against ladies her senior on the same tracks.
