Do you guys buy any shoes specifically for riding? I have usually just purchased sneakers, but are there any shoes made for riding mountain bikes? Any worth getting? I saw an article from edit itself about shoes made for ebikes. They look pretty dope to me. Check out the first look here – Fizik Terra Ergolace X2

I didn’t know there were any specific shoes for riding till now. But when I read the article, i found out that this shoe would really help me while riding my MTB, because of its firm sole and the horizontal groves in it. Would definately try this one out in the near future.

Any footwear which gives you comfort while riding is good enough other than generic sneakers, which incidentally won’t give you good grip or power transfer. A pair of flat pedal or skate shoes, and even hiking shoes will do a good job.

I use Vans Old Skool Pro shoes while riding my BMX bikes, i makes me look cool in the competition. It has the famous bubble gum soles which gives good grip over the bikes petal. It’s light weight and it’s inner sole is soft and provides good cushioning to the foot.

Yes, a Vans classic slip on which I specifically use for riding because it is affordable, comfortable and classic.

I usually prefer to wear flat soled shoes which is designed for mountain biking. They have very stiff soles, and a tacky rubber sole which allows the metal pins in the pedals to bite in, providing incredible levels of grip even through very rough terrain.

I am not very strict about what footwear I use while riding. Anything that is comfortable and not too heavy is well and good for me. When going on long rides I do sometimes have an extra pair in my kit just in case of emergency.
