So it looks like Evil is at least working on an ebike. Not sure where this image originally came from (probably a photo from a dealer book) but I found it over on MTBR. I would say that from the specification and the level of the frame finish this is a near production version of the bike and I bet that these would already be in dealers if it was not for the current component shortages.
Impressed that Evil has been able to retain their trademark look and multi link suspension platform it looks just like their mountain bikes but with a Shimano EP8 motor and 630Wh battery.
I would love to know when this is going be available and the cost!! Anyone have more info?

Hi the bikes are available now with a price of 5221.00 €. It has 4 Charged Evil color options available: Black-Red, Black-Yellow, White-Red and Yellow-Red. The finished product looks better than this Prototype pic. Looks Evil :devilish:

Looks like the evil bikes are becoming the necessary evil. It is getting such great reviews for its design and battery.

The design is good, looks exactly like every other evil bike just with a larger downtube that houses the battery. And that larger downtube looks is far better compared to other disproportionately large ones on SantaCruz, Trek, Giant… etc Ebikes

The evil bike really looks evil. This model is very much appreciated for the battery performance.
