Do you own any vintage bikes? I’ve been looking to get some vintage bikes in good shape, as I would love to start collecting older bikes and fixing them up if I can. If you collect vintage bikes, what kind do you currently own?

I unfortunately don’t own any vintage or rare bikes. But I too have been on the lookout for some in recent years. My dad got me into bikes growing up, and he had some old bikes that he sold off years ago. I always bring it up to him, because he regrets selling them. But when you got three kids, I guess you sometimes do that.

I actually been on the lookout for older bikes to help him find ones he sold or similar to the ones he sold.

Our family owns a vintage 1934 BSA Club Gent’s Bicycle Model 403A, it’s very special and still rides. It’s kept safe and maintained well as our family heirloom.

There is a veteran in our neighborhood, he was part of para jumpers unit. He has a BSA Para Jump cycle, the cycle can be folded into two and stretched again. It has a carbide gas powered head lamp and he still have his original tool box. To design this kind of foldable cycle way back, is an amazing engineering feat.

Same, I almost got a bike from the early 1900s for a great price, but someone bid a crazy high price and I was out of that auction soon after haha!

But yeah, I’ve been on the lookout for vintage anything really, but I keep an eye out for bike parts and any other important bike memorabilia from the past.

Vintage bikes are really cool, they still work. Our family has an old BSA it still runs. Vintage bikes are very sturdy and dependable. It’s easy to service too.

I love to see vintage bike collections. But I don’t own any. May be I should go for a travel and start collecting vintage bikes and maintain them safely.

I saw old cycle used by Policemen during world war times. They have preserved it and kept in on display.
