What do you do with your old bikes? Sell them? Give them away?

What do you do with old bikes you own? I have donated a few to friends and family and have given one away to charity in the past. Have you ever donated your bike to anyone? Do you sell your old bikes? Keep them for parts?

I usually keep most of the bikes I own, so that I can use them for parts if needed, but I have donated a couple to family over the years. I have more than enough bikes, so giving a couple of them away isn’t a big deal with me.

I love to give away my used bikes to kids in our locality. Many of them use to go for their schools or for their sports training. It’s nice to help others around.

I usually sell my old bikes at reduced prices. I do not use the same bike for more than two years.

Ah, that’s so sweet of you to do. I never really thought of donating bikes to any local children. I will keep that in mind for the future.

That’s fair. I know a few people who get a new bike often, like every other year or so. I try to do the same, but it’s easier said than done.

I usually give them to any known person who are in need of it or else I sell for reduced cost.

Whenever I upgrade my bike, would sell my old bike to people in my bike club. It’s very useful for beginners as they don’t want to invest heavily during their learning phase.

I usually give to my younger cousins or sell as second hand bikes.
